Enlisting from all across the world, EarthHack will allow students, academic researchers, tech startup founders, AI enthusiasts, or just someone with a keen interest in the future of generative AI to collaborate in a common goal of building a more sustainable future by harnessing the power of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).
At the intersection of technology and sustainability, EarthHack GenAI will allow participants with the opportunity to create a project focused on GenAI, sustainability, and innovation, engage in workshops, and connect with leading companies. The action kicks off with a 36-hour virtual round from January 6-7, 2024 and continues in person on January 18, 2024 at Microsoft Toronto, where finalists will be invited to present to a panel of industry leaders.
The mission of EarthHack GenAI is to drive innovation, promote research, and inspire the tech community to push the boundaries of what's possible with generative models. GenAI, a subset of machine learning, has garnered immense attention in recent years for its ability to create content ranging from art, music, and text to complex simulations. As GenAI continues to evolve, the potential applications and implications of these generative models become even more profound.
